Board & Batten - Living Room!

It's Sprucing Season! I think I just made that up haha. In all honesty I just wanted a reason to spruce up our living room, it was so blah and I needed it to pop! I like to keep things simple so I decided to go with a white board and batten wall, seems easy enough right?

So this project took about 3 days. I could have finished it in two, but I broke it up into pieces, if that makes sense.

Day 1: put up mdf board

Day 2: primed and painted

Day 3: put on third coat of paint

I love the texture it added and it even makes the room look bigger and brighter! This is honestly such an easy and quick DIY, anyone can do it! If you are curious about price, we added 3 accent walls in our house for $200 in material.

Materials:

• 3" mdf board

• Nail gun

• Miter saw

• Primer

• White paint

• White paintable caulk

• Wood filler
