We finally made it to Nashville! Unfortunately our Mexico vacation was postponed due to covid, but luckily we were able to visit the city of music!
Day 1:
We decided to drive to Nashville on Wednesday morning, the drive was just under 8 hours. We arrived to our beautiful Airbnb around 4pm. Wow, let me just tell you about this Airbnb....easy in/out from highway, clean, cozy, quiet, easy walk to Broadway!
After checking into our Airbnb we walked over to Peg Leg Porker for bbq. The food was good, but I've definitely had better.
Day 2:
We started our day with breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe. I do have to say breakfast was delicious and great serving size.
Visited the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum.
Tennessee Whiskey tasting at Nelson's Green Brier Distillery.
Lunch at Hattie B's Chicken. 10/10 wow you have to eat here!
And an evening out on Broadway listening to live music.
Day 3:
Our entire day was pretty much spent in Lynchburg. The drive from Nashville to Lynchburg is about 1 hour 20 minutes. Our first stop was of course at Jack Daniel's Distillery. We purchased tickets for a tour and tasting followed by lunch at Barrel House BBQ. Lunch was amazing and highly recommend the ribs and sweet potato casserole.
Of course we practiced social distancing during this entire trip. Nashville and Lynchburg are taking great precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy. If you are looking to get away during covid times, I recommend this 3 day trip!
Pro tip: Travel Wednesday - Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday are not as busy!
